Geoffrey Tahuahua is a veteran strategist with over a decade of experience at the intersection of campaigns, lobbying, and association leadership in Texas. A respected lobbyist and seasoned government affairs professional, Geoffrey has worked nine legislative sessions, helping shape and pass impactful policy on issues ranging from regulatory reform to workforce development and construction liability.

His career includes senior roles at three major trade associations, including serving as president of a statewide construction industry group, where he leads legislative strategy, grassroots engagement, and political advocacy. Prior to his association work, Geoffrey spent years managing and advising state legislative campaigns, building a strong foundation in electoral strategy, coalition building, and public messaging.

Whether advancing policy in the Capitol or guiding candidates on the campaign trail, Geoffrey brings a sharp political instinct, deep relationships, and a results-driven approach to every client engagement. He lives in Dripping Springs with his wife and three sons and serves on the Dripping Springs City Council.

Katie Tahuahua | Principal-Communications

Katie Tahuahua is a seasoned communicator with over a decade of experience helping leaders and organizations craft clear, compelling messages on complex policy issues. She has ghostwritten for presidential cabinet members, governors, first ladies, legislators, and CEOs—shaping speeches, op-eds, and media content that have appeared in outlets like Fox News, the Washington Examiner, the Epoch Times, and more.

Before joining GT Strategies, Katie led communications efforts for a nationwide policy initiative, wrote for two gubernatorial administrations, and supported public affairs campaigns across the political and nonprofit sectors. Her strength lies in translating policy into language that moves people—whether in the press, on the campaign trail, or behind the scenes.

Katie earned her bachelor’s degree in English Writing and Rhetoric from St. Edward’s University. She lives in Dripping Springs with Geoffrey and their three sons.

Ana Grace Husted | Principal

Ana Grace Husted brings a sharp legislative mind and a deep understanding of political strategy to her role as Principal of GT Strategies. Known for her poise, precision, and effectiveness, Ana Grace has built a strong reputation at the Capitol and beyond for representing clients with clarity, credibility, and results. Whether navigating complex policy challenges or managing high-stakes messaging campaigns, she delivers strategic counsel rooted in experience and execution.

Ana Grace has advised and supported numerous local campaigns, helping candidates craft compelling messages, connect with voters, and secure wins in competitive races. Her keen understanding of public sentiment and policy nuance makes her an invaluable ally for clients seeking to shape the conversation and move the needle at both the local and state level.

A proud graduate of Texas A&M University’s Mays Business School, Ana Grace holds a degree in Management with a focus on Pre-Law. She lives in Dripping Springs with her two rescue dogs, where she remains active in the local community and continues to mentor the next generation of public policy professionals.
